Dear Reader,
            The LORD, Jesus the Christ, is the true Author of this book!
            He is the One Who gave me these ‘memos’, and inspired me to be one of His ‘messengers’…through a lifetime of emotional and physical afflictions, and loss!
            I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, of Sicilian emigrant parents; who were among the ‘boat people’ in the 1930’s that were processed through Ellis Island. My father’s name is etched on the wall, which honors many of the emigrants, who traveled thousands of miles from their homes, across the Atlantic Ocean.
            My mama died when I was fourteen—the beginning of my heart’s losses. Papa followed, twenty years later.
            During these twenty years, I married, and gave birth to three children…two daughters and a son…who is the middle child, as am I.
            We came to California in 1975 leaving behind the only place I knew!
            In 1977 I accepted Jesus Christ as My LORD and Savior!
            It was in California that more physical ailments pursued me, and the beginning of numerous surgeries, which threatened to take my life. Then the death of my marriage; more surgeries and more diagnoses.
            I remarried in 1990, and together, we have five children and eleven grandchildren.
            Of these eleven, two of our beloved, have lived in Heaven, since November 2007.
            This book was published only a few months before, our then fifteen year old granddaughter, was taken Home!
            A copy of this book, with a personal note from me, her ‘Mema’, is among her possessions.
            Our grandson, who was taken to Heaven with his sister, was nine at the time. I can just see him perfecting his Karate skills for the LORD!
            Only my dear and blessed Savior, sustains me and the members of our family, through this earthly loss!
            I have dreamt of being a writer and author from the age of three.
            Since July 22, 2003, I have written and documented the LORD’s messages to me, and to others.
            February 24, 2005, He spoke to my heart with the first ‘memo’, and then He spoke to my heart to ‘self-publish’ this book…to be the first in a series of seven.
            I pray…throughout this endeavor…that each of you is BLESSED as you read…as I am BLESSED as I write!
            I continue to listen for His voice…through the power of the Holy Spirit…in spite of my physical and emotional afflictions, and earthly losses. As I have learned to say: PRAISE THE LORD, ANYWAY!
